How we can help

Compassion HomeCare offers a comprehensive home care service to enable you to be independent in the comfort of your own home. We cover the whole of Orpington, South Bromley, and surrounding areas.

We can provide you with regular support to help with your care needs. This can be as little as a few times a week through to regular daily visits. We will always be guided by you to ensure that we provide what best meets your needs.

If you need some help recovering at home following a stay in hospital, one of our carers can visit to help you with your recovery. Our office team, including our Nurse Director can co-ordinate your care with other professionals such as Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, District Nurses and GPs.

There are times when you might just need a little extra support for a short period of time, for example if the person who regularly cares for you is not available. Please give us a call to discuss how we can help.

What can our carers do? 

Our carers are fully trained to support you in all aspects of your personal care. At all times they will respect your privacy and dignity.


  • Help with getting in and out of bed
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Washing, showering, and bathing
  • Shaving
  • Assistance with medication

As part of your care package, we can also help you with some of your household tasks, including:


  • General cleaning and housework
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Doing laundry and ironing
  • Shopping

We understand how important the social aspect of providing care is. We can help you with:


  • Accompanying you for a walk, visiting cafes, outings, and medical appointments
  • Activities in your home such as playing cards, jigsaw puzzles or just listening to some music together
  • Helping you get to social outings and meetings 
  • Or just popping in for a cuppa and a chat

End of life care

Compassion HomeCare is uniquely positioned to support you at this very sensitive time. Our Nurse Director, Eniko, has worked for over 18 years as a Senior Palliative Care Nurse both within hospitals and in the community.

Care that is tailored to your needs

All our care packages are tailored to your individual needs. We will agree with you in advance the duration of the visits and when these are required.


We do not believe that care should be rushed, so if you require help with washing or showering then we would recommend an hour’s visit. We can also provide shorter 30-minute calls if required.  We offer a 15-minute medication administration call if that is required.


Our service doesn’t stop with us providing the right carer, one of our managers will take time to get to know you. They will make regular visits to you to ensure that your care is being provided in the way you would like it to be.
